For those of you who have wondered, "Why does Evan take such delight in Mel's tragic return to alcoholism and anti-semitism?" I offer you the following explanation: Ransom. I hated that fucking movie. But I also hate that crazy look in Mel's eyes that he calls 'acting' and i call 'the mad max technique.' I've never called it that before, but now's a good time to start.

but seriously, isn't it time someone of mel's stature takes a fall? i'm tired of people like lindsey blow/hand job, paris whoreton and nicole 'itchy' ritchie getting all the press*. these girls will shrivel up and die before long. but mel has been with us for many years, getting away with lunacy because of his rugged good looks and what was once considered a pious outlook (church every sunday!).

i want him to wear that beard for the rest of his life, which will hopefully consist of him sitting under a bridge, scaring children who call him the troll as he chases them with a half-eaten turkey drumstick in his left hand and a bible in the other as he screams "i hate you daddy! i hate you!"
